Am I losing power somewhere?!
Am I losing power somewhere?!
Okay guys all my mods are in my sig. I web to the track last night. Ran 12.75 @107 with s 1.78 60' and 8.17 1/8 @85. Now I've went 8.04 in the 1/8 before so I know it has just a little more in it. But for my mods is the trap speeds typical or should they be higher? I street tuned the car with Mellon so I have no real Dyno number for it. But I thought it would for sure see at least 110? Or am I wrong? I just felt like with my mods it would do a little better
Mods for those of us who have sigs turned off:
2005 Evo 8 MR GG
3" TBE, HKS 280 Cams w/ Fidanza gears, Forge Unos MBC, Drop in filter, Evo 9 Bov, Buschur Street FMIC, Buschur LICP, Shep stage 1 TC, Walbro 255
Tuned by Mellon Racing @25 psi
That's a pretty basic setup, I'd say right now your biggest restrictions are the stock airbox and intake pipe.

It doesn't have an air box. I said drop in filter but someonehas deleted the box so it's just the stock pipe with a cone filter. I am looking into changing that ASAP. But with cams bigger fmic and everything these cars only trap 107? I thought I seen plenty of people going 110-113 ish? I just want to make sure that's typical and I'm not losing power somewhere. I know the actually et is all in the driver but the 107 was what I was concerned with
