I have a DOT truck scale about 1/4 mile from my house that I use from time to time. Its pretty accurate but I was shocked to find out that my 04 GSR with sunroof, leather, stock radio w/sub and about 1/3 tank of gas was 3500 lbs w/me in it . I went over the scales a total of 3 times and got 3500, 3480, 3520!

I'm used to my VR6 GTI that only tipped the scales @ 2750 with me in it...

 

my 03 evo weigh @ 3314 lbs on a scale at the track..

wow that damn gsr is heavy.....i feel bad for the motor..hehe

 

My car with 1/4 tank of gas and spare tire out with Sunroof was 3175 and with me in the car 3325

 

even at 1 3/4 ton it still hauls ***. I can only imagine what losing 300-400# would do . If this pig wasn;t my daily driver I would put her on a diet.

 

How much is that? if you have to pay...

 

I don't have to pay anything, its an open scale you can just drive up on and get a weight.

What the hell do you guys have in your cars? My 2003 GSR weighed 3220 on a DOT scale.

Front axle was 1960 LBS.
Rear axle was 1260 LBS.

That was with me in it and around 1/4 of a tank. Spare tire, jack, radio, and all factory accessories were in place. The car also had a sunroof, so it wasn't a lightweigh, by any means.

Now I have an 2004 RS. I need to go get that thing weighed and post up the difference.

Yep. Looks like around 3050 is the weight for the 2003 Evo GSR. I weigh about 175 lbs and mine came out to 3220.

 

3380 with driver, laptop, 5 gallons of fuel.
driver is 220
car is 3160lb

as per scales at Raceway Parks NHRA scale Englishtown, NJ at the evo vs wrx race in sep.

 

my 03 evo with sunroof and without spare is 3350 with me in it.

 

3155, no spare, 1/4 tank
