Smogrunner,
I guess I was wrong on the tuning within an inch of its life. I hadn't touched upon how aggresively it was tuned with Curt but read somewhere else that you were closer to being correct than I was. It was pretty damn aggressive. My apologies.
Even with this fact, 11.2's at 124 mph is still phenominal.
Our white RS is still sitting here virtually unmodified. I have thrown back and forth what to do with the car a 1,000 times in my mind. I am putting together a huge pile of parts for the car that are going to keep it in the Stock Appearing Class for the shootout. I am sure you are going to see cars run in the 10's that will hardly look modified at all. Maybe even on pump gas.

David, keep up the good work. I have a ton of respect for what you are doing. Your cars run great and I learn a lot about by reading what you and your customers are trying to do to get that last bit out of your cars. I'm hoping to try a couple of last mods to get another mph or two out of mine. I think we all agree that it is pretty special having a daily driveable 11sec car, four banger with room for 4, and handling capabilities that rank up there with many exotics.
Thanks Smogrunner, just wanted to make sure the truth was out there that is why I put up the information.

Thanks, Dave.
. I just returned from Ohio after having THE MAN himself David Buschur look into the map that had been installed into my car Within less than 10 minutes David showed me right there on the screen of my own laptop the exact reason why my car detonated and grenaded the way it did. A simple knock protection check off of a little box on screen that was ignored combined with eratic timing map that was up and down 2 degrees up, 4 down, back and forth at certain rpms, eratic fuel map all caused my car to just detonate to crap and crack 2 pistons and trash my head...Dudes I'm still fuming 3 weeks later.....the fun is over
for nowDavid Buschur took the time to explain the entire scenario of what was SO VERY WRONG with my AEM tune, all while being sick as a dog, and he was not even planning on coming into work that day. I tell you all, this guy is 500% truth and humility, no BS, straight forward as can possibly be and will not steer you wrong just to try and get your business. When David tells you something, you can take it to the bank, I cannot THANK YOU enough David for your honesty and time you took with me. We spoke about Curt Brown's awesome acheivements with his car on the stock turbo and Dave backs it up so thats good enough for me.....
My car will definitely be back but this time 100% Buschur parts built, Buschur tuned, and Buschur PROUDLY displayed on it...........
Curt you are definitely "THE MAN" the "Stock turbo KING"
GOD BLESS Y'ALL!!
