Woooo, yeah a 2.225 is pretty bad, there are some FWD vehicles that get quicker 60FTs than that. More practice and you can hit low 13s to high 12s and raise your trap speed alittle. When I use to own a fast car (damn it seems like it was so long ago) the best mod I had was, me, yup just alittle practice and experience helped me shave off alittle more than 1/2 a second on my E.T. (no other mods).

No, it's slow as **** though. I'm guessing it puts around 260ish to the wheels. I have no idea why the car is so slow, I guess it's just the luck of the draw. Like I said, it's been slow ever since I bought it. Still, I have fun with it .

It cracks me up how you're so accepting of your car being slow and it's not slow, but maybe comparitively

Yeah, I have one of these: http://www.chasecam.com/bulletcam.htm so I can angle it pretty much anywhere. I didn't go all out on that run because I had driven an hour to get to the track and only had 20 minutes or so cool down so I knew the run would be nothing special and was short shifting. The next run was horrible so I just parked it for the night. Probably won't head out to the track in this car ever again though (Evo IX is right round the corner).

Eh, what can I do about it? When I get the IX I'm going to swap to dino oil straight away and drive it hard straight off the lot as I really believe the gentle break-in she got is part of the problem. I've smelled gas in the oil ever since the first oil change.

please, you act as if that's the norm

most drivers would be lucky to hit low 13's
