Nothing special, just a different camera angle than usual. This was a 'shakedown' run taking it easy and shifting right around 7K RPM. The shifter stook going into 4th on this run which is why 3-4 is a little slow. On the next run it completely locked me out of 4th so I parked it for the night. Oh, I almost had that T/A too .

Lightly modded. I think I have the slowest Evo ever: It ran a 13.6@99 bone stock.

UFO, what was your 60ft time? i ran a 13.62 @105 last week with the '03. i know my 60ft sucks & that's why i had that time...

 

Took it 'relatively' easy off the line for a 1.818 60'.

No it doesn't. Stock Evo's have been known to hit 12.9's.

 

i guess i need practice then. mine was a 2.225. what sucks here is anybody faster than 13.99 (nhra tech ruling) needs a helmet or they kick you off the track (firebird raceway phx, az). i waited 2 1/2 hrs to get that run. i just barely got a helmet from Nopi so i will try to improve my time this friday. very nice time though.

 

That T/A must have been heavily modified.
