Running a mostly stock evo in the 1/4 mile, would I be able to trap in 4th gear, or will I have to shift to 5th? Im probably going to run it for the first time on friday.

 

In stock form 4th gear will be in the upper 6 grand range throught the traps, just ride it out.

I dont even shift out of 4th. Of course my rev limiter has been upped to 8k.

I stayed in 4th in my MR, and I wasn't yet out of RPM, but I only hit 103.89 mph. If I hit 105 like the MR is capable of doing in stock form, it's possible I would have needed to hit 5th to do so...but I didn't have to in my 3 runs.

 

im trapping 111 - 113 in the 1/4 and still in 4th. my rev limiter is upped to 7800k rpms
