racelegal in san diego

Does anyone in this forum live in san diego and go to the races at Quallcomm? From what i understand it is 20 buck to race from like 6-12. I was wondering how many runs you get in an average night? It sucks that it is only 1/8th but better than nothing!

when i used to go there it was 20 bucks and i got about 3-4 runs in if i stayed all night. If it was really busy i got about 2 in and if slow i got about 6 in... average 3-4.

Not bad and you get to practice your launch!

That's a good time for that track... my best there was an 8.1... some honda guys were getting low 7's and one even got a high 6.98!

It's usually a great turnout.

besides the street yes... Carlsbad speedway closed down. That was a 1/4 mile track. Other than that you can go to fontana at CAL Speedway.

I believe Barona Casino also has an 1/8th mile that they open on fridays/saturdays. Check it out.

From what i hear it's nice(Borona)... they're probably going to extend it to a 1/4 in a few years as well. They are just paying for the first install right now and gauging interest.
