Too hot, still slow.

Got some passes in at QCR today, T&T, hot and real high humidity, AIT peaking 177. 41psi pass bleeding off bad to 35 with **** poor boost response between shifts, im blaming my boost controller set-up, MBC to the bottom port of the Tial, what seems to be happening is two things, back pressure in the exhaust housing is blowing the WG open early and running the MBC to that port is not helping matters. I need a good EBC to run off both ports to hold more boost and give me more response. Best ET was 10.267@140.53 on a 1.53 60ft, best MPH was 10.367@141.76 on a mad spinning 60 of 1.616(no way around the waterbox). Stay tuned for a boost controller fix and a cold night at PRP on the 29th.

9s are just around the corner, it's just really hot right now everywhere, once the temps come down, so should E.T. times.

Are you still in 4th gear at 9k for those runs or are you shifting to 5th or have you lowered you final drive ratio? Nice times though... you really need a track that will give you the traction you need. Nighttime will also help

Have you tried a stiffer WG spring? On my car, I would get a taper on race gas due to 1.2 bar spring I was using. For 40 psi you almost need a 2.0 bar or stiffer spring.

4th gear will go 149.5mph@10,000rpm, at 141.76 is 9300rpm. With the AMS intake the car pulls real hard all the way to 10k no problem. Stock gearing, Shep trans, 225/45/17 BFG drag radials.

I did think about the spring, but that would bad for pump gas driving. I need a boost controller solution to run lines off booth ports on the gate, running a signal on top will hold the valve shut at high boost.

Yes, it would be really bad on pump gas. What you could do is run an EBC off the side port and then run a MBC to the top port. That way you could still use the EBC to fine tune the car and leave the MBC closed when not at the track.

Have you tried the e-boost? I had a hard time adjusting it, but this thing would keep that wastegate closed. I never heard that wastegate crack when I was running an open wastegate dump

You should try the HKS EVC EZ.
