Yup... He spun like MAD..... Running street tires is the main reason..... In due time..

 

They need a bit to work out the bugs - this is a new setup - TTX and Al have been running their Evos forever... ISP'll be there soon. Like starting with new tires

Nice I don't think they were going to fix it. I thought after they ran first run, they were done for the day because they had a lot of the car taking a part.

Also congrats to the ISP racing from making a good run, that car difenately has some power.

 

Dont diss them like that - it takes development time to make any car fast - Joeb at Turbo People was saying they are making over 900 whp without juice so its only a matter of tume till they run fast

The car was very nice - lots of good parts

 

I did - 10.20 @ 144.3

The track officials warned me if I went 9's in the race I would be DQ'd

I wanted my 3rd TT throphy so I had to go easy on the launching

I came in 1st and Dan from Pruven was the runner up with a 10.8 @ 134

Was this the evo running 11's with the parachute .. ? same one ? I heard they were claiming a MPH record. . what did it end up with ..? I didnt catch it

According to Joeb at Turbo People who tuned it it was making over 900 whp without nos on c-16. I asked the driver and he said it was making over 900 whp also. It was a nice looking car. I was suprized when it only trapped like a 129 when I saw it run.

BTW Mark - props to TT for putting on a very well run event and I had a really great time. Also - the prizes got better than last year !

 

no full cage, window net or cutt off switch - they actually printed out a list of rules and handed it to me

Another guy with a dsm got DQ'd for going 9.99

I just wanted to win another trophy - not blow up and have fun - which I did

Next week I will try and go faster at test and tune

 

They weren't claiming anything. I started this thread to try and draw some extra excitement to your event. I knew Al would be there, I knew you'd be there, and I knew ISP would be there - who are building up their car, but obviously have a few kinks to work out at far as dragging it goes. Don't worry... you're still the king for now.
