fuel supply for the solonoid was tapped into the wrong line. It should have been tapped into the fuel supply line into the fuel rail, it was incorrectly tapped into the non pressurized return line back to the tank.

no fuel pressure = Lean, detonation, BOOM.

I ran into a guy spraying a 2 stage 50/50 (100 total) shot this weekend. He didnt have any issues with it so far except he was on his third clutch and only had 10k on the car.

WRONG. Do use nitrous, it works great.

Don't install it incorrectly and blame the product for the failure.

This pisses me off,as it's why nitrous has a bad name.

If you incorrectly installed an AMS gt35R turbokit and were dumb enough to mix up the oil and coolant lines and filled your oil pan with coolant. That would spun all the bearings and destroyed your engine.

Would you go on the net and tell everyone not to buy this turbokit becuase it blew up your engine? no, that's being ignorant. For some reason NOS has a bad name becuase of people screwing up the install.

Please ask the guy if you can re-post those pics... I would like to see what NOS can do... when installed wrong.

I love all these guys who say that nitrous is bad for an engine and it will always blow your motor. When there is problem, it is almost always is way to much (your motor couldn't ever hold that much power) or installed incorrect. Anything that adds that much Hp and is installed wrong, i shouldn't even have to say what will happen. I have put NOS and other brands on a wide range of cars with a wide range of miles on them as much 200 shots on Lt1's with 150,000miles and never one problem. There should have been a light bulb going off when the car only went 12.3 when there are evos out there running those times with just the bolt ons this car had or close. if the kit was installed correctly he should have had a 11 second ride.
