a flash and tune took me down from 12.9 to 12.4

 

now before the tune I was shifting at about 6500 (where I was told the power drops off)

Will the flash allow me to run all the way to my new redline (8000) or should I still shift at the 6500 point?


Also, what is the maximum efficiency of the evo's 16g? I'm pushin' 21-22 psi right now, can I go up further?

 

well went to the track today and was disappointed

ran the same times 13.1-12.9

guess the dynoflash didn't work?

my mph's were higher though...hmmm

 

Well if your trapping higher than the flash is making more power, it's just that your driving isn't improving. What was your best run?

 

If you're still shifting at 6500rpm, that needs to change...

Shift at 7200 on stock cames; 7500 on aftermarket cams.

 

My best run of the day was a 12.91@103.88.

Previous best before the Flash was 12.92@103.3

I got a couple 104mph passes, but that was it.

I changed my shift points to 7, so maybe I need to let it out 200 more RPM's? My 60's were consistent...1.7-1.8's all day. So I dunno.
