Rau and AMS doing well!
Yes, we broke an axle. The car has been absolutely bulletproff this year except for a few small drivetrain woes, but the track was sticky and we payed the price. Eric did a great job driving and I wish we could have won the class, but such is racing. We are constantly improving the car and getting it dialed in, breaking parts is part of the learning curve. FInd the weak link, improve it and move on the next part. Congrats to all the DSM's and EVO' this weekend, they did great!! Big thumbs up to Dan Bajalas, even though we've been fighting a high RPM ignition miss he pulled a 10.3 pass on all season radials!! Also Curt Brown ran very strong and pulled some amazing high 144-144.95 mph on a 2.0L and our GT35R kit. Watch for him to do some amazing things in the near future.

both Evo 8's in the finals for powerstreet class, it was close! I was running into ignition and traction problems all day, but the car ended up running consistent mid-low 10 second runs. Thanks to AMS for the awesome tune and well matched parts to make the win happen. Also, these runs were with stock rims, brakes, full interior, moonroof and roll cage. There's a lot left in this car, 9's are around the corner. Congrats to Eric Jones with a 9.4 pass, it was amazing to watch!
Here's the breakdown of my best run, check out the 1/8th mile trap, then just ran into ignition miss in all of 4th!
60 foot 1.692
330 4.519
1/8 6.786
mph 112.50
1000 8.699
1/4 10.328
mph 136.87
That last race was close Dan! Great race and props for being so consistent
I ran my personal best this weekend in the finals, taking 2nd in powerstreet.
I had shifting problems with the new clutch, but here's the run down on my only clean pass granny shifting to get it in gear.
60 foot 1.673
330 4.650
1/8 6.936
mph 105.00
1000 8.903
1/4 10.524
mph 139.43

I've seen Dan's car @ AMS numerous times, and it has a stock interior. But, when he fires it up.....damn. It sounds like an absolute beast. Best of luck to you Dan, you will definitely break into the 9's.

Sean?
I really wanted to get a good side by side race off with Brian. If I had beat him to the line, I would have lost anyway due to the fact I didnt have my license yet. But at least I could say I lost on a technicality. Hopefully they dont screw us with rule changes in the off season. An awd car has not won a Turbo 4 event yet, they need to at least let us get a win before making tire changes.
Eric.

XXXracing is Brian Ballard who is the Nopi turbo4 champion and also last years turbo4 Champion. Again Brian big congrats on wrapping up your 2nd championship.
Being fast is one thing but what I have learned in turbo4 is that reaction time is a big thing, look at the reaction times. That being said running 9.5 or 9.4 and getting treed 2/10 makes your car a 9.6 car.........
Looking to have some fun in the 06 season, so I am sure my fellow Miutsubishi racers will be working on their reliability and the reaction times!!
But don't underrate the Hondas they can go rounds and they are fast, and there are some talented drivers driving them in turbo4.
Also Dan B congrats on the great performance last weekend.

Well said Sean.
Brian, you have done some great things with your car and we've worked hard to compete with you. We've finally completed all our product R&D on our test/race car and I plan on attending all the NOPI races next year with it. I think it will be a great year with all of us working hard to stay competitive. Turbo 4 will explode, as you can already see from the last few races that have beem slammed with full fields. I think it deserves more coverage than it gets and I will try to help out as much as I can.
