No, 03/04s don't have this feature.

dang!! well, if thats the case then How would I launch mines w/ out destroying something in the drivetrain? I have the restrictor removed in the clutch ( the spring) i believe it is. Is that good for me to have done that? also looking to put Type RS BOV on? heard there were some problems w/ venting to atmosphere ex: car dies after hi rev. should I just recirculate to intake?

Uhm, well having launch control or not has nothing to do with destroying your drivetrain. That depends on how you launch. If you dump the clutch, you will break your transfer case. Read around this forum to see how we launch. I've explained it many times and have shown vids that match my verbal explanations.

Why would you look to put a Greddy RS BOV on? There's plenty of others that are cheaper and more effective. You never want to go VTA on your Evo unless you go to a standalone AEM EMS with no MAF (or MAFTPro).

Im fairly new to this forum, so Im still trying to navigate my self around in here if there are some better ones out there (BOV) is there a link or somewhere in this forum that tells me where to find it? Cause If i could get one that works better and cost less then that would be the way to go? Let me know. thanks!

You can do a search and find 1000 threads. Most of the recent ones will all say the same thing:

- Forge RS DV
- JDM MR DV

y would most Evo owners opt for the Forge or the JDM MR one instead of say........ HKS, GREDDY, etc.... does the two hold better boost w/out leaking or is just personal preference?

Because the HKS and Greddy ones are expensive for no reason and cause drivability/idling problems. The JDM MR DV works perfectly and only costs $100, but is only good up to 25psi. The Forge RS works perfectly, is fully adjustable, costs $170, and is good to as high a boost as you will ever want to run (38-40psi).

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I guess I will have to take a look at the Forge RS one for my '03 then. Looking forward to having fun w/ the car this summer.
