I know Titan tested NOS vs the NX kits and whereas the NOS kits varied in whp change, the NX kit added power on the dyno right where it was advertised.

I like TNT

NOS ans NX is rated at BHP while TNT is WHP. so a 100shot of NOS or NX will be about 74-80whp while TNT will be 100 whp.

Pretty sure that Titan tested NX @ 50whp for their 50shot.

hmm... looking at my Old NX pill chart at the bottom it says that they are rated at the engine.

Maybe NOS is different.

When the question is which is faster on normal fuel and in a stock car it is a toss up, as DSmotorsport said earlier. All I am going to say here is that when it comes to 93-94 ocatane (whatever) and a stock car it is safer to run meth, and you have the power there all the time; on and off the track. Race gas/ mods make it an entirely different story.

Isn't nitrous supposed to provide a bigger return on a turbo car?

I've had an NX kit on my last two cars. Nitrous makes great power and on race gas you can easily support a 75 shot on an EVO with just exhaust and tune. But having a bottle for pimping on the fly kinda sucks. The biggest being it takes time to heat up the bottle to operating spec. Even if you have a remote opener you still cant just open the bottle and spray. If you do you risk a nitrous backfire due to low bottle pressure.

For a daily driver I think meth is a better solution but for a drag run on race gas I'd definately say nitrous owns all!

Do you realize this is only advertizing gimmick? No manufacturer's nitrous kit is going to make more power than another one with the same size jet! All TNT is saying is to run a bigger nitrous jet or rating thier jet sizes at a higher bottle pressure.

The amount of N2O that you release into the engine determines how much power it makes. This is not up for arguement. A TNT kit, NX kit, NOSkit, Zex kit, or Edelbrock kit will all make exactly the same WHP on the dyno with the same bottle pressure and same nitrous jet size. End of story, end of arguement.

I would start marketing my own "modified" NOS kits with my own jetting chart. Ill just tell you to run .076 nitrous jet and the chart will say it's rated for "50hp shot". Everyone will be amazed and Ill sell thousands of kits because my "50shot" kit made 175whp!

That is exactly what TNT did.

How big of a shot did you go on the stock motor?

About how much would it cost to make a kit for the EVO?

TNT uses bigger jets. Its not because their kits are "better".

I have been running a NX wet kit for about 2 and half years now. A 75 hp shot. I have sprayed on pump gas and now issues, but I have better results when i use a 50/50 mix of 93 pump and 110 race. It gives me a good 10+ mph in the 1/4 mile spraying 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear...

I hope you mean NO ISSUES.

With the 75 shot.....do you have cams and ARPs?
What psi are you running when juicing?
How are you controlling activation?
