Ive got a friend that says he ran a 7.827 in a wrx with a VF34 turbo... stock motor, tbe, boost somewhere around 22psi im sure a slightly stronger tranny.... I dont believe him simply becuase i don't see very many stock subbie 2.0L motors going into the 11's which is what a 7.8 1/8th mile time would just about ecuate to if i did math correctly. Anyone else call bs?

He tells me the slip is on his wall, to come buy and see it....

Let me add this guy ran a 15.5 at the 1/4 track becuase he didnt want to launch his car a little while back. Ive ran him from a kick and pulled him slightly (i still have a completly stock turbo on stock boost)

lying plain and simple...the fact that it is on a stock motor is reason enough. I would say go look at his slip...only way to truly be sure i know i would not go off word alone.

Oops sorry almost forgot. Just thought someone up late, and bored would get somewhat of a kick out of this.

 

that is 1/8th mile... doubt 97mph in the 8th for sure...lol. But if his car put down 328 awhp at godspeed it could run low 12s . I made 328 actually there also 2 years + ago in my wrx and ran 12.2 all day stock everything inside the motor and tranny.

My car made 328, not his. I dont know what his made but he says over 365. I broke my tranny at the track so i never really got to get the best time out of my car before i started putting her back to stock to get rid of her... Im not doubting that if he had the power he could do it, im just doubting he has the power lol but you guys are right this is teh Evo forum. So i went to NABAISCO
