Heading to the track tonight for first time
Like the title says iam going to the track for my very first time, and first time in the evo.
Ive been practicing launching, on closed courses of course
, and starting to get the hang of it. Not sure what to expect really, since ive seen some evos run slower it seems, but then again could just be drivers.. Elevation is about 1500 ASL. So not tooo bad.
Oh and iam throwing in some 104 in before i go
.
Iam excited to see my times, and hope i dont make a fool of myself. lol

Had a ****ty 60 foot for that one, and i didnt have a helmet, so all my races before that i was brakeing before i hit 1/4 just so i wouldnt get thrown out.
My best 60foot of the night was 1.807
My 60foot for the 13. run was like 2.1 i slipped the clutch too long on that one. But this was a fun night, still learning the best ways to launch and everything. But i had a blast, def gonna have to do this more often

The 110mph is impressive for AZ, but not for the mods and race gas. At the very least, you know the car is pretty fast. Maybe with good driving, you'd see 112-113mph, but I don't know how hot it was at the track.

I was personally hoping some of the other people that said they were gonna go and had helmets would be there. So i could borrow one of theirs lol, but never saw em. But ya next time ill def have a helmet.
Ya dont get me wrong i was hoping to atleast break 12s... but o well. I know if i woulda kept going on the 1.8 60foot run i would hit mid 12s probably, and it wasnt hot out, nice and chilly. well atleast chilly for us ***** *** AZ ppl when it hits 50 we think its cold haha..
But neverless was a fun night and learned quite a few things, and cant wait to go out again.

Yeah, no worries, you will improve greatly next time. Also, don't worry, because I've forgotten my helmet twice I think and had to borrow from my fellow DcEvo members, which is a pain.
