Almost as bad as my POS!!I ran a 11.4@125mph,short shifting n walking off the line....Then when I lit her up,4400rpm 2 step the POS exploded again for the third time.I have over 400+ passes on this s hitbox.99% of them done on stock bottom end=435awhp.We were launching at 5500rpm n 18 psi..NO Problems.
Since Ive gone BIG weve blown 3tcase = bad diffs n 2 hi a 2step twice ,WTF!!!Turbo is making 2much HP,for that hi of a launch. 619awnp@7200rpm/39psi/c16.Going to Shep since hes the BEST!Sounds like u need to talk to Shep goodluck.Im sick of WAITING as U R.I pay someone to build my s hit,how do u think i feel My POS has turned into a shop s hitbox,OVER a F uckin YEAR!!!Diffs ,cdi`s, clutches, trans n tcases!!!

I turned the boost up to almost 28 but blew an intercooler pipe off. I was planning on eventually running it at around 32 psi but needless to say that didnt happen... just another crappy day at the track. I really need to get this stupid thing running right.

Here is the slip info:

60' 1.772
330 4.998
1/8 7.543
mph 96.61
1000' 9.695
1/4 11.483
mph 126.03

Here is a vid of it:

Wow You are more upset than I am with my pos. I dont pay anyone to work on my car, it has a stock engine. Its just by me doing the work outside in a parking lot I tend to try to speed some things up... hence the reason for the crappy tranny fluid which is hopefully the reason it doesnt shift. The boost leaks are because I had to get the car running in a day to make the track day. Ill get those fixed up as well as some of the other odds and ends and it should be a decent car. For the low boost it is running it is obviously making decent power. If I can get it to shift and fix up some of the minor problems (Hopefully today), I will turn the wick up to around 30psi and shoot for 132ish traps.

Ive had good luck with 1/2 quart of Redline Heavy Duty Shockproof and 2 1/2 quarts of Penzoil Syncromesh in the tranny. I beat the crap out of my tranny and do 8k RPM NLTS all the time with no problems.

Looks can be decieving

My 1/8th mile sucks horribly. The launch sucked horribly... the numbers show how bad alot more than the vid. The vid makes it look decent but it really wasnt.

At any rate, I figured out the shifting problem I think. Today I fixed some seriously large boost leaks (still have a few minor ones but MUCH better), fixed a few small oil leaks, fixed the fuel leaks and changed the tranny fluid.

Turns out something is wrong with the clutch disengaging... I am pretty sure it is the master cylinder went south. I can barely get it into 1st from a dead stop and when I do the car starts rolling forward. I have bled it multiple times and still doesnt work right. I will try to get a new master cylinder tomorrow if I can and see if I can shift it better.

My boost was also tapering from almost 30 down to 26 on those runs... turns out most of it (If not all of it) was the boost leaks. I got rid of some of em so it should make even more power now. We will see on Sunday if I can get the bastard to shift.

Syncros go Tina.Tranny time!Send it to Shep before you run,or youll just be frustrated. What does help on the stock trans ,if you do HAVE to run is at the line before you stage,go threw the gear pattern a couple times .It seems to help.Goodluck.Im sick of crap quality.I cant wait to get another toy, GT-R,
Z06 or GT3.I cant make up my mind

I already have a built transmission. The clutch was not disengaging fully I have figured out. Some theories are the clutches got warper, the splines got kinda crappy preventing to clutches from sliding easily, the release bearing was over extended or I bent some of the fingers on the pressure plate.

Im thinking one or both of the clutches got bent. Here is the kicker though.... I removed everything to drop the tranny on the ground to see what the problem is and I can not pull the tranny away from the block. There are no bolts, nothing.... it seems like the clutch itself is holding the transmission. I am getting extremely pissed on this whole thing now... I have had this same fing tranny out around 10 times so far and it still doesnt shift right.
