Ran my worst times ever!

Well decided to take this slug to the track friday and i ran terribly!! It was a little hot out that night and not cool like other nights. 60fts were terrible and i couldnt launch it for some reason! I have NO flash, i was trying to pull 106-107 traps with the mods in my sig. What kind of 1/4 times and traps do you guys think i could achieve with a good 60ft? My car is sloooooooooooooooow. I hate those traps

1st pass (1.4 bar boost in 4th)
r/t: -.111
60': 2.270
330: 6.072
1/8: 9.052
mph: 83.80
1000: 11.620
1/4: 13.78
mph: 104.87

2nd pass (1.5 bar boost in 4th)
r/t: 1.037
60': 2.415
330: 6.272
1/8: 9.261
mph: 83.37
1000: 11.854
1/4: 14.0
mph: 104.07

Just goes to show why it's not smart to add a bunch of parts without the proper combination and tuning...

Tunning is everything in these cars. Get your car tuned and spend sometime learning how to launch your car. those 60' times are horrible.

i think 108-110mph traps are attainable WITH a tune. just with a TTM flash from dynoflash, 12.9's can be accomplished easily with your mods and good driving. also, have u disconnected the stock 5k rev limiter yet? with a TTM flash from dynoflash, you wont need to disconnect it because al integrates in his 2 step launch control with the flash. you definately need a tune though......

Increased 60' time ofen results in lower traps.
Think about it. If you get out of the hole faster you made up more ground in less time.. Thus you have less time to accelerate resulting in lower trap speeds.
EDIT: I have almost the exact same parts, but im custom tuned and ill be at the track on the 15th. I will let you know how i do.

Your 60ft time is as bad as a good launch on a fwd. With a terrible 60ft time, the time delay adds until the end of the 1/4 mile. Your 60 ft times are comparable if not worse than stock. How are you launching? It seems like your trap speed is good for low low 13 sec 1/4 mile.

well on the first pass i used the stock 5k limiter and i slipped it too fast and i bogged. On the 2nd lauch i disconected it and bogged even worse. I never run my car at the track which here are the results since i dont launch the car ever so i dont have any practice...

WOuld a 106-107 trap speed be attainable with a 1.7 60ft with my mods?

Those times aren't bad for the 60ft. It doesn't tell the whole story though. If you bogged off the line that explains the high 60 ft and less then impressive trap speed since you have less time to accelerate and you had a bad start. For example, when I get a 2.2 ft I usually ran a high 13 going 100mph. However, if I get a 1.9 ft, I usually run a low 13 going about 103mph. So yeah, if you can lower your 60ft to about a 1.8ft you'll see a huge improvement. My mods on my 05 was a TBE, injen intake, mbc, walbro with a TT flash done at palmdale, CA.

you already spent money on all those mods. why not spend money on a mail in flash that way your car is somewhat close to being tuned to your mods? the mail in flash will be the best money spent yet! i dont understand why people add mods like yourself and expect good results without the car being tuned......

Well i got Jestr Tuning here locally to do it, so thats not a problem. I just wanted to see if i could get into the 12's at like 105-107 w/o a flash and then run with the flash to see the differences

You are really close to Jester tuning. Just go there and let them tune that ECU for you. They have a ton of cars that are just rocking the track right now, with light mods. No matter what though, you need to get tuned or all you are doing is hurting your times.

You're just wasting your time. You could easily hit 12s now if you knew how to launch/drive, but those high 2s are just atrocious. You shouldn't be trying to compare at the track before and after a flash. You should have done that before and after all those mods, although I know the dealer installed some of them off your previous Evo when you bought it. Just get a flash and learn to drive. You'll be much happier.
