Both cars had g-tech meters in them
my car, the evo 8, passed the 1/4 mile in 12.23sec and the AMG passed at 12.70sec.

A quick translation of the video:


The guy is talking about Gerardos' brother which owns a Mercedes. Then the conversation is a missmatch of compliments about both cars. There is some minor cursing and slang in the tape and judging by the roads it does not look like it is in the USA but I can't confirm that.

The guy speaking owns the Evo and he mentions that he is about to race the Mercedes. He keeps saying that the Mercedes is a "Maquinon"(mean machine)

I will listen to the video a couple of more times and I will make a better translation.

If the mercedes is stock, not very...

Edit: IF the Mercedes is stock, and it is a 2001 the g-tech is about 1 second faster then it should be (ie: 13.XX). If the Mercedes is a stock 2003, then the g-tech is pretty darn close, only off by a couple of tenths (actually read low).
