Back to the track again, finally some better results

When back again this week. Took 2nd in the sport tuner challenge. Lost to a 10 second 2.3l I4 pinto lol.

Last week I ran a 12.7 @ 108 with a 1.9 60ft.
But my buddy dissconected my rev limiter for me. So I got the following time.

12.5 @110 with a 1.8 60ft.

So now I cant wait for my tune at the end of the month.

Congrats! Good time, just need to lower the 60' a little and you should be happier. Also I am assuming that the car is tuned....?

You will have it in before the tune, or you won't get tuned. Get that sucker overnighted or sent 2-day air.

Btw, good improvement. You followed advice from us on here, launched a little better, and ran well. Was this on straight 93, or did you add any race gas? 110mph is extremely fast for those mods untuned, btw.

Yeah, i'm on plain old 93 octane right now. I was doing horrible at first, it was beyond humid out. Track was very sticky, and I couldn't launch without bogging. Finally it cooled down and got my launches down better.

are the Fuel Pumps easy to install, or is it a B*tch and a half?

also can I get just the pump or do I need the pump with the kit?

Just checked my funds also, i'll be short on $$$ for another week. So i'll be cutting it close.

It's an easy install...even I did mine myself. You don't need the kit, so save your money.

The how-to on the install can be found with pics and great detail at Evomoto.com . Use it!
