Only one clean run tonight, 12.2@113

50/50 (110/93) 1/2 tank

1st run: 22lbs, bogged like a champ

2nd run: turned to 23-24lbs, missed 4th

(between these runs talked to a guy from Titan, don't know who he was but he said to try launching around 6000)

3rd run: 6000 launch, 24-25lbs, clean run best of the night

4th run: 6000 again, best launch ever, 1.78 60', missed damn 4th, any guess on what could have been?

Thats all, I was also trying the "no lift shifts" on some of the shifts, never on 4th though, just because I have had problems with it not going in before.

Hell, yeah, improving every time. You've come a long way from that first time. You didn't pick up much MPH, but you improved your driving alone by .2s. Keep it up. Here's a few points of interest:

1) The 4th run had a better 60', but your 330' and 1/8th were already slower than the 3rd run, so your 1/4 would not have been better than 12.25. However, you did hit 89.xx mph in the 1/8th on that one, so that's probably your fastest 1/8th mph ever.

2) Hmm, you were trying to no lift all the shifts except 4th? That should be the EASIEST one of all and is the only one I ever bothered doing back when I was running 12.0s with the ACT. WIth my Exedy, I can NLTS every shift with ease, but for you, 4th should be the first and only one you do. After you get it down pat, then maybe try the others - they are much harder to do.

3) Honestly, though, the NLTS is less important than getting a good 60'. I also launch at 6000rpm, but 1.78 is still weak. Once you get some 1.6s, you'll be nipping at 11s like you wanted...

I just think my sincros are shot on my 4th, I have to full lift and make sure its in. No lift on 3rd was easy, maybe I did try it on 4th, I can't remember, but I did do it on a couple of gears.

I am still on the stock clutch, and at 37xxx miles. I don't know how good of a 60' I could get, but I am really happy with the 1.78. Slowly defeating poor driving.

I think once you switch clutches you will definitely hit 11's. I had a better 60' and trapped 2mph more and ran the same time as you. You are definitely alot better at shifting

Maybe I could hit 11's without the clutch, I still need a re-tune and that will be happening soon. But I do really need to get a clutch.

What do you mean by 3" stock Downpipe back, no cat? You have the stock downpipe then a test pipe and cat-back?

Um, so why are you running all those mods on a stock downpipe? That's senseless.

Also, if you have no cat, then that's a test pipe whether it's one piece or not...same thing. Dude, get a DP. You have a $1500 standalone ECU but have a homemade exhaust without a downpipe. What's going on upstairs?

Thanks for all the "good run" comments. Now that I am getting better at the launch, I want to go again as soon as I can, but I really need to get a tune first. I hope I will be able to go again before the end of the month.
