The only one I know of doing that was Switzer, who had AEM EMS and C16.

Yes, 118-119, not 117. That was my point...

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Its been a blast and the learning curve has been huge. Al is right on a conservitive A/F. I did a 4-5 gear pull and the A/F never went above 10.5. There is definitely room for more, but don't feel any reason to push the limits any further. I will be installing the cam eventually and will retune with Al at the track. There are no doubts the car can go 11.3's maybe a touch faster which is just incredible for I,TBE, MBC and a geat tune(dynoflash). I will post some pics and vids in a few hours and answer a few questions some of you asked.

11.3 would be a stretch since we haven't seen proof of gaining power with just an exhaust cam, but the main problem would be gearing. Are you not completely killing 4th gear yet? You should be well past 8000rpm in 4th...

Some people are asking/pming what parts and brands I'm using to get this done. To be very clear I only use Buschur Performance parts like exhaust, I/C pipes, etc. And Al Friedman from Dynoflash is the only person I ever let touch the ecu. He has produced a very fast car on a conservitive tune. Hope this helps clear up some things

He told me he was at 7800 in 4th which is really close already..This is the only downfall i see in the IXs

7800 doesn't sound right. The MR traps maybe 113-114 at 7800, and the IX 5spd is maybe 1mph higher. 117+ at 7800 doesn't add up, but then again the tach isn't accurate anyway. You have to log the rpms with some device to know for sure. Yes, the gearing on the IX is a hindrance, but it doesn't seem to be as much of one as I predicted.
