Please any updates on what times people are running let us know? Are the EVOs laying the smackdown, or are the WRXs putting up a better fight? How is AMS doing, Al from Dynoflash, and others? Please provide updates.

Well just got back from the shootout and the subaru representation was very poor. Nothing in the 10's and only about 6 or 7 subarus got on the track. Also most of the fast mitsu cars broke.

From what i could tell-

Shep = broke
AMS = broke
Al friedman = broke
Pure performance = broke

All and all it was O.K. IMO but not all that exciting especially as far as subys go

My car ran great and I broke some personal records

9.7 in the 1/4

and 150 mph !

#1 Qualifier in the Q 8

I was forced to leave the track in the semi final as they hot lapped up and I leaked a bit of collant overflow on the track at the starting line

I also was disapointed that no fast slowbarus showed up - butg lets face it - its hard for them to deal with evos

 

Props to Dan Buschur the win ner who ran all dcy full weight evo on straight gas at 9.6 @ 153


His and my Buschur engines are bullet proof

 

Nice job Al, glad your car ran well you deserved it after some hardships the last few times out!!

 

AMS did break but they did however break another record for both E.T. and MPH!!!! They went 9.17 @ 162.8. They ran this is test and tune before qualifying.

Curt Brown also ran a 9.68 at 142ish on that bad a$$ gt35r turbo kit from AMS

 

wow. deep 9s all around. and 9.17 162.8 is freaking insane. Getting so close to the VIIIs

 

Dan's car was pretty fast. I'd have liked to see it up againts the AMS or white Pure Tuning Evo...

Wow very impressive, four EVOs running 9s, just amazing to see such progress. E-Town should be great.

Any other EVOs in the 11s and lower, who won the other classes?

 

I don’t know if the white Pure Tuning Evo ever got a clean run. They had a silver one there that ran consistent low 12s time after time; it made a lot of passes.

I’ve taken my Eclipse to Pure Tuning (Toledo) and they’re an awesome shop… I was hoping to see the white Evo rip off a good time.

 

Is it just me, or does this settle all the Tuner arguments over who builds the FASTEST cars?

10 mph and half a second is a lot of time and speed to find once running mid 9's

 

So close to 10's but just a bit off still. Best pass my car clicked off all day was a 11.04 @ 128mph.
