I doubt I'll be getting the stock tires, as OEM equip is always way too expensive, but I won't go with a tire like this. Maybe the new Falkens, or the KDWs, Ecsta MXs...something.

Skil---You can't compare your 8th traps and a rev limited 35 Rs 8th traps. Putting the extra whp to the ground and using all the power of a big turbo in the 8th is hard to do. Not being able to rev past 7500rpms makes lag between shifts a hinderance. This setup will shine on the back half of the track and his 123 mph trapspeed is about average for what he Dynoed at on a dynojet.

Yeah comparing the 1/8th mile time of a stock turbo evo and a gt35r powered evo makes the gt35r car seem worthless, BUT when you look at the second half of the track the bigger turbo car really shine. Work on your shifting a little more and get the 60ft down and you'll run some low 11s. On the highway it wouldn't be even close comparing a stock turbo car to a gt35r car. The gt35r car would own it.

I suggest you also take a look at what everyone else is trapping at in the 1/8 with big turbo setups. Hell even rnr car(not even the best driver) with a gt37r turbo which is very slow spooling on a bad day will hit 7.4-7.5 in the 1/8 and he has no rev limiter and his is a 03 too.

What would be the simplest way to raise the limiter? There's no one within 500 miles who tunes EVOs.

Also go run your car in the 1/4 mile and u might find that holding your car in gear to trap 90 mph in the 8th might hurt your 1/4 mile ET and trapspeed. Not sure but it might. If I remember correctly 90 mph is about where an evo shifts into 4th.
