Who is the fastest in the 1/4 on the stock ECU?
I know I am close, if not the fastest. Has anyone done better than 11.013 at 128mph? Also, if you believe someone has gone faster/quicker, did they post a time slip or was it just hearsay?
Ok first of all I dont consider a "tuned ecu by tuning tech" is a stock ecu. Anything done to a vehicle to make it run differently is considered to be a mod. So no your ecu is not stock and therefore you havent ran thefastest on the stock ecu because the ecu does not have the stock tune on it.

Smoggie, this will be a tough one, because when Al had that 10-sec competition to see who could hit 10s first on his flash, some guy did it with a GT35, but he was such a toolbag that he kept getting banned multiple times. I am not certain we ever saw a timeslip, so his accomplishment is very questionable.
Regardless, your 11.0 is nowhere near where your car can be when you get a good pass. 128mph is only indicative of around 500whp, so whenever you hit a trap equivalent to your 580whp (135+mph), you will be doing mid 10s like nothing.

Just as a reminder, the 11.0 was done with lower of these two pulls (570/504):
Also, we have to work out the following little details before going out again:
1. Fuel: we need to do a few logs to make sure my injectors are not completely maxed. I run AMS 880cc. We upped the base idle fuel pressure from around 43 to a little over 50. We may need to add even more to give the injectors a little headroom.
2. More boost: the 11.0 at 128 was run at 31.6psi. Obviously I have a few more pounds of boost on tap. It is just a matter of not overrunning the limits of the fuel system.
3. Shift knock... Alfred is retuning to resolve this issue. We are getting little or no knock except at shifts, which has caused the car to momentarily sputter on my 2-3 and 3-4 shifts. We aren't even sure if this is real knock, but this killed me on my best run ever where I did a 7.1 at 99.66mph in the 1/8th only to finish with an 11.013 at 125mph. Alfred feels that there is too much ignition advance in my table at the lower load points which are active during shifts, so he is gonna adjust those fields to create less of a dramatic change during shifts.
4. When I did the 11.0s, we hadn't tinkered with rescaling the load values from 260 to over 300. We just tuned with the stock values.

We were having some problems with lift off knock on the 2-3 and especially 3-4 shift. It caused a sputter of sorts which significantly slowed us down. These things take a little time to work out as we are pushing the ecu to its limits. Once we get some fair conditions, the car should trap in the mid 130's.
I wonder if a registry list can be started for fastest Evos on the stock ecu?

Well yeah, anything that hasn't removed the stock ECU is using the stock ECU.
As for the between-shift sputtering, ANY HICCUP between shifts on a turbo like that would absolutely kill your ET/MPH. No wonder it's "only" done 11.0@128. I'm sure it will gain a lot at the track when that issue is resolved.

Stg1 IX with exhaust cam, SAFC for tuning (probably race gas) and a 75 shot.
