Geting To The 11`s or low 12`s ?

hey all,

well as the title says i want to start by geting to the 11`s or even low 12`s.
if you all can give me a list of the cheapest way to get there that will be great. i see alot of you getting to the low 12`s and high 11`s with a few mods. being that im new to this Evo i dont know where to start. A list of what i need will be great also maybe a good place with good prices will help me alot to.

thanks,
BadestEvo

You will need the mods in my sig plus alky kit. And you have to be a hell of a driver.

blitz drop in filter, turbo back exaust and a tune. This has been proven with at least 6 evo ix from mynes in az. Even if you tune on 91 just put race gas in and as long as you a decent driver you should be able to hit mid 12. As for the 03 evo i would also add cams, maybe 264 or 272. Something to even the playing field with the IX's mivec.

ditto that... make sure you tuner set your two-step launch control (suggest the 5500 to 6000rpm range) show you how to use it. In FL, you get 93 octane so getting to the low 12's won't be that difficult

cheers.

MBC
Tune
TBE
Drop in filter or BR intake
Race Fuel
This is for EVO 9
EVO 8 need:
EVO 9 stuff + Cam

All of them require atleast 1.70 60' to hit low 12's or high 11's

Theres a few people that ran 11's/low 12's on pump with 8's. Go to the drag racing section and look for 3000ways registry and check out the 12.4-12.0 section or the 11.9 and faster section and start looking up peoples mods.

With a filter, exhaust, cams, and DSMlink I went 12.1 at 113, on the snow tires. Without DSMlink it went 12.8 at 108, for reference. Total cost to me was 1200 dollars. I did quite a number of mods since then (FMIC, injectors, pump, reg, EBC, clutch, 1g BOV gus modded, motor mounts, etc) and went 12.0 at 114-115, LMAO. Stick to the big hitters at first, better bang for the buck. The rest is good preparation for the next turbo.
