100mph in 1/8 will give you about 7.2 ET. A 9.21 ET in the 1/8 is good for about 69 mph. Something ain't calculating bro.

Hey Dan, have you tried any nitromethane yet (Nitrobooster)? I was thinking about trying it once some day with 100% methanol to richen it up.

I haven't tried the nitromethane yet, at some point I will, if you do before me let me know how it is...I guess I am going to try and spray in second if I can, if I can get my 1/8th mile up a couple mph more, I think my et is going to drop significantly, I have it as a momentary button on the dead pedal so its a little tricky to do with your feet but I am getting used to is so doing it in 2nd shouldn't be a big deal now...I used to have it for WOT but I don't want to launch on nitrous...

Someone needs to invent a jaw switch for that .

I agree that the spray in second will get your ET down significantly, there is a lot of time to save in that #2 gear. 1st is all launch, 2nd and 3rd is the 1/8th, and 4th is no brainer (for evos with less than 550whp)

Be careful though - good luck

The best way to control all that is a nitrous controller. With a progressive controller you could run whatever shot you want with the system armed at the tree. I used one on my FWD. It allowed for nearly no shot off the line and a nice punch up top.

You can likely find the same nitromethane at your local hobbystore.

My first search finds 20 and 30% volumes. Not sure of the snow branded % but you end up mixing it with methanol anyhow.

I have tried it.. Its nasty stuff.. I don't recommend it but its fun to play with.. I used model airplane fuel without the castor oil, 20% (20% nitro to 80% methanol)

Both, you have to watch the mix and AFR's carefully, since its both a fuel and oxidizer, but releases ALOT of oxygen and therefore you can accidentally run very lean, the mix has to be consistent or your tuning will be off, thats where the problems come in. Its highly toxic also, and will absorb into your skin.. The smell is a dead giveaway in your exhaust...
