new times with methanol and nitrous...
Well I finally got back to the track after nearly two months of not being able to. I have the exedy twin plate in the car and it held the nitrous great but I had a great deal of trouble launching the car as the clutch grabs so so low right now and its adjusted fully out. I have the clutch rod on its way and it should help in that aspect. First pass down the track with the 50 shot the car went 12.228 @118.23 and after some adjusting of the nozzle sizes and dialing in the afr's a little the car went with a 1.722 a 11.783 @121.81. My previous best mph was 115. I sprayed nitrous only in 3rd and 4th so next time with the clutch adjusted I will try spraying it in 2nd as well and getting some better 60' times. I was debating whether or not to power shift and I opted not to this time but next time out I will try. I am pretty happy to finally get in the 11s but I know the car has much more in it.

I am definitely happy but my ultimate goal is going 11.3s with a 125 trap but I have a feeling I will need a 75 shot for that but will see. I am definitely stoked about the 11s though, I ran 4 12.0s in a row before the 11.7...I was like man am I eternally stuck in the 12s or what...

You can definitely tell it's not spraying until 3rd/4th by looking at the splits. Get the clutch sorted out (it shouldn't be doing this even without an extender rod), then spray in 2nd and watch the ETs fall...
That 30mph gain on the backhalf must feel perty nice, haha...
Oh, and don't talk to me about being eternally stuck in the 12s. My 12.000 will forever haunt me now that I'm stuck at 6000' altitude and unable to trap higher than 109.5.

Yea the nitrous is freaking amazing, you hit the button and the car just pulls and pulls and pulls, like without the nitrous it always feels good but it dies off up top, on the nitrous it feels like it doesn't stop pulling. Yea I am not sure what the deal is with the clutch but its like really hard to put it into reverse as well which is why I know it needs to be adjusted. Yea I was like please to give me the warrtalon 12.000 forever curse, you should just get a bottle for your car and just get yourself the 11s, I had to pull 3.3 degrees of timing across the board and that was it for tuning for the 50 shot. I could have kept more timing I believe but I wanted it to be safe.

I came very close to slapping on a 50-shot, since it's the only way for us to make up for the altitude, but then I decided it wasn't worth the risk for a few glory runs. I only really care about road racing.

Yea I hear you on the road racing thing, I am working towards that now, I like drag racing and all but I autox is 10x more fun and I can only imagaine what road racing is like. They are the reason I got the nitrous, I wanted to have a car that can do it all pretty well you know...
If you consider autox 10X more fun than drag racing, then you better not hit the road course unless you're ready to make a fundamental change in life, because it will quickly become the only thing that matters. It makes autox seem boring and makes drag racing an afterthought.
