fastest stock bottom end evo?
I have ran my car at 34-36psi on the street while testing crap out... so yes people do that on the stock motor 
My ignition had no amplifier when I did run it... it was completely bone stock with BR8ES plugs gapped at anywhere from .022-.028
I now have the DSM ignition on it and it holds fine at 35psi at least. I am going to try to get it to run for one more day at the track this year. The problem is I will be running it for the first time on straight methanol so Im not really sure how it will work out. Hopefully I make it before the tracks close down.

Hope to see you hit 650whp or 700whp and run low 10 or posible 9 on straight mentahol and stock block.
what is needed to run the dsm ignition?

Have you thought about running a DSM ignition? They work better than your stock EVO stuff you know. I have 2 local buddies (11 sec EVOs) who converted and they have been happy with the results so far.
