Trap speed question...
Well I went to the track a week ago and the traps that I've pulled seem not as high as they should be. I got tuned and dyno'd 300.2 whp and 292.8 wtq on a Dynojet. The mods that I was running at the time were AMS Turboback w/ Test pipe, Walbro 255lph, K&N drop-in, and a Hallman Pro mbc @ 22 psi. So the times that I received were...
R/T .216
60' 1.759
1/4 12.902
MPH 104.11
R/T .098
60' 1.788
1/4 12.963
MPH 104.87
I know I could use a little bit more practice but I still think maybe my traps should be a little higher than they appear? Temperature was cold and was running 93 pump. I'm also having a pretty severe 3rd gear synchro problem where I either have to completely shove it into gear or it'll grind pretty hard which may be affecting me, but regardless... any thoughts/opinions/advice? My friend is makin a boost leak tester for his GSX and I'll be usin it on my car in about 2 days(too lazy to make one myself if he's going to already) and that may figure out some issues...

You'll have to get that 3rd gear issue solved first. Then see what your traps are as that could be slowing you down. Mine did the same thing, but only above 7k. You can try shifting at or just below 7k or adjust the pedal.

There is something wrong with your car. Something must have changed sinced you dyno'd, try a fresh set of plugs and the boost leak test. Make sure you read up on how to do it the right way, it seems like there are too many wrong ways to do it.
