More specifically, what is the highest MPH on the stock block/head with a 30R turbo.

Alfred from Tuning Technologies today did 124.4 mph on his Evo with the following mods:

ECUFlash (stock ems) tuned by Alfred
Stock head with 264i/272e HKS cams
Stock block
Stock airbox, intake mani, throttle body
Tuning Tech Turbo kit with 3076
Nisei IC
Full weight Evo minus spare tire

What other Evos have done higher mph on a 3076?

His et on this run was an 11.8, he simply could get no traction at all and his 60ft on this run was a 1.98 if I recall correctly. He could not hook up all day, the track prep was really sorry, he was running 300 treadwear rated tires, and he was using his new diffs for the first time.

Damn, I'm hoping I run quicker than that on C16.... What rubber was he on and what was the two-step at. Im at 5500 right now and it just spins for about a second hooks then i shift to second, it happens really quick but it just barely gets traction before i need to shift, its pretty violent. I wonder if due to the stroker I should lower it, I am making 17 psi on my two step, smoggie or alfred any idea what boost your making at the line?

I'm not doubting you, but could you verify this? I think I remember Evodave doing 125 on a 30R but I couldn't find the thread.

 

Yea I tried looking for it, I believe it was a buschur driven 30red car but I am not sure if that car was full wieght or not, which would play a role in the trap speed...

 

I would love to see this setup!!! Do you have any pics of this turbo kit installed? I'm thinking of trying this kit or Vishnu's V550 when I get my Evo9
