Is it just me, or does the 1/8th mph seem low for the respective e.t.?? With a tune, and assuming no boost leaks, it seems a bit on the slower end of the spectrum compared with other IX's with tune. Then again, if you're new to sticks and new to awd's then you may not be driving it like you stole it just yet.
LACR is notoriously slow. Not sure if it's the altitude (2700), the prep, the timers, the weather, the wind, or all of it combined, but the results are usually quite slow on average.
well if you go to LACR.NET and you scroll all the way down it says the elevation of lacr is 2700 and it also tells you to take your time and mulpitly by .97 and and multiply your mph by 1.03 to get your acctual time and mph at sea level. I douth this will only be for cars with out turbos and super chargers because majority of cars over there are blowing. Also lets say a turbo does help with the elevation but it will help even more with out the elevation right? the times i posted where already multiplied, so those are my times at sea level. and the weather was quiet bad that day especialy the water at the line. They had water everywhere i couldnt even go around it to not get my tires wet. Also i was wondering what rpms do you guys shift at??
That only applies to non-turbo cars - N/A and superchargers suffer twice as much as we do at altitude. I already said that once.
Nothing wrong with water - I use it everytime then do a quick burnout to shake of all the dirt/rocks. Shift at 7k.

Whoa, you posted times WITH THE MULTIPLICATION? Dude, you can't do that - those are NOT your times at sea level, and even if the formula was right, you still can't do that. Man, that's messed up. YOu can only post what you actually run. Look, I'm at MORE THAN DOUBLE your altitude, and you don't see me posting bogus conversions. I ran a 12.30@108, and that's my time...nothing else.
well i mean if you live there than obviously your not going to multiply it and do a conversion but i dont live at that altidude the track is at that altitude i live like max 600ft over sea level so i did the conversion to know what ill be runing down where i live. Im going to stop going to that track so ill post some new time slips from a better track. And i dont see why the forumla wont be right i mean its not like some guy made it up its in the track website so i think they know what theyre doing and ive seen a lot of cars around there pushing turbo runing like 9 seconds using that forumla for their time so i dont see what the problem is, If YOU know that, that track runs slower than thats what the forumla is for you said it your self like 10 times that LACR runs slower didnt you?? well thats the whole point of the forumla because they know that LACR runs slower to so they put the conversion forumla so you know your real time.
I also tend to get stuck between 2nd and 3rd gear shifts it feels like the shifter hit a wall and it wont go into gear. Some runs it goes in smoothly than someone times it just jams... does anyone else have this problem from 2nd to 3rd?? On all of my runs i was doing a slow 2nd to 3rd shift when ever i would try to power shift it it wouldnt go in. All my other gears are fine except 2nd to 3rd.
Ok, dude, whatever. YOu have convinced yourself of something that has been disproven many times. It's totally bogus that you tried to tell us your CORRECTED times. NO one does that - it's ridiculous. YOu can only claim what's on your timeslip, because the correction factor is designed for N/A cars. Not only that, but even for an N/A car, you can't go around making claims about something you've never done. That was just messed up for you to come in here with claims that you haven't done.
No, it doesn't matter if you live closer to sea level. All that matters is what your timeslip says, plain and simple. If I used the same conversion given for my local track, then I'd be claiming 11.3@119, which is crazy.
Anyway, the fact you tried to use the conversions explains why your numbers don't make any sense where the ET was way too low for the MPH. I had just thought it was amazing driving, but now I see it's just a matter of improper math.
