this thread is a joke, a stock evo with a mbc turned up a couple of pounds, with a bov (take it off an put the mr one on) and a drop in filter runs a 13 sec pass at 108. Oh wait maybe the car has a flashed ecu but the owner doesn't know. Nothing stock about your car and absolutely horrible driving to go through at 108 and not get a mid 12. What ever, I forgive you for all the lies, they happen all the time on the web in forums, thats why we have warrtalon to clean up the bs.

Glad you see the light. All those people who bash me for doing this, yet 9 times out of 10, we end up getting the real truth, and it's not so impressive.
Anyway, this guy is being cool and deserves a fresh start, so we'll forget about all that - it's in the past.

Technically, 1.5 bar is close to 21.75psi. If you want to know the exact conversions from bar to psi, just go here:

http://www.dragsource.com/index.php?...s&calctoview=8

This says that 1.5 bar = 21.756psi...pretty close.

+1. "I didn't know that a 255lph fuel pump and EBC didn't come stock with the 03 Evo"

I'm sure you already knew this but you should change out your advan's for some m/s during the winter months if you haven't already. You don't want to drive you evo in the snow with the stockers. Enjoy your car that are a ton of fun.

Thanks Warrtalon I appreciate that man. What do you personally think of tuning with a S-AFC II? I won't be doing the tuning trust me. I know everyone wants people to get a flash done but isn't easier with my mods to tune it versus have to have it flashed everytime I put new parts on. Am I off base!

Get ECUflash it is alot better tuning tool, cheaper and you can get it tuned over the net if you dont want to do it yourself.

No way. You will have to retune the SAFC everytime, too, so what's the difference? You'd have a very weak tuning device that can't give you any special features, and you'd still be paying someone to retune you. It would be a huge waste. You also don't have to get a retune for every SINGLE mod - just ones that affect fuel and/or timing. No one said you had to do one mod at a time either, but when you do clumps of mods and need a retune, it's no problem getting another flash.

A flash is FAR, FAR superior and wasting money on an SAFC would be silly.

Thanks you guys that makes a lot more sense. I will do that and check to see if it already hasn't been done. Just waiting for the mac version so I can use it. Everything seem to be going to the internet. Thats crazy! So if I need a new MAP I just pay for it and they can send it to me and upload to the ECU. Too Easy if thats the Case.

yeah, just check out the ECUFlash forum. it's great, i never had a flash till it came out because i couldn't afford the downtime. no downtime with this, you don't even have to take out the ECU!

great and no. tranny has 38K on it and still shifts like butter. as long as you don't road race for long sessions it should be good with regular fluid changes. i use a synthetic 75-85 GL-4 called castrol syntorq LT, but marketed and relabled for the US as a mopar fluid for the NV4500 deisel tranny. anyway, it should help with the heat since it was designed for that tranny which creates and holds alot of heat due to the cast iron case it uses.

aint this the truth. what do dealerships consider old?! wheres that age line? 108 is a fairly impressive trap speed though nonetheless.

Thanks it would be more impressive if I hit a faster ET. Instead of a 13.058. I haven't drag raced on a track for at least five years and I also didn't have anything worth until now.
