The fastest one is the car with the better driver.

6 speed is slower in the 1/4th mile, a little faster around a track (depending on driver), and has a higher top speed..

It's not slower in the 1/4-mile. In fact, it's a little faster up until 110mph, because the gearing is better up to that point. It may have a higher gear-based top speed, but aerodynamics keep it from reaching its terminal speed.

I was wondering because when I ran down in Sacramento, CA. It was a 13.058@108.639 and my first run was at 13.6@108.977. I just think my car is crazy.

12.7 would be the quickest but not the fastest.

Stock IX's have touched 106 but I think you take the cake with your 108.
Ever think of going back or even try another track and see if you can duplicate your traps?

did you have the car since new or buy it used? if you bought it used, it might have a flash. 108 is pretty high for a stock 05' VIII.

Actually he has a drop-in filter and a HKSss valve so he isn't stock. But still very high traps.

I bought it used but when I talked to the dealership the car was owned by an old man that traded it for an 06 EVO. That was it. I put in a k/n drop in filter and a HKS blow off valve. In my opinion, the car's strong point is it's 3rd and 4th gear power, which probably is the reason that attributes to the 108+ mph trap speeds.

What dealership doesnt say this exact line? Every car for some reason at a dealershir seems to be driven by "older people" LMAO same thing with my EVO and honestly if they didnt give me a good deal I would have walked after hearing that cause I dont think an old person owned my car
