Please offer your estimation for 1/4 mile time...
My buddy ran this 1/4 mile time lastweek, and I was telling him if he got a little better reaction time (.5 ish) and 60 foot (1.5-1.7) he would be in the 11's...he was running Falken RT615's on stock wheels.
Actual time:
1/4 Mile -- 12.56
Vehicle Speed -- 113.86
R/Time -- .686
60 Foot -- 2.034
What do you guys think?
What time could he draw?
Thanks in advance for your opinions

He might get into the 11's but reaction time has nothing to do with it. With that 60ft, he has A LOT of room for improvement.
You never know, practive makes perfect. I could see that car doing a high 11.9 @ 115ish with a really good driver.

At that mph, he's not going to be hitting 11s. Maybe a 12.1 or so, but he's had to be making more power to hit 11s even with great driving unless he's actually making enough power for 115mph traps and we can't see it due to the poor driving.

IF it could do it its gonna take killer driver. With that 60' if it went to a 1.75 it might actually pick up 1 mph in the 1/4. Its gonna be really close. i would say its gonna go 11.9x to 12.0x
On EXTREMELY rare occasions and only with absolutely superb driving, but he didn't ask, "what is the absolute lowest possible time for this trap speed?" An 11.9 is within the realm of possibility, but in answering the OP's question, I do not concur that this guy can hit an 11 just by getting a little better 60'.
For the record normally you lose MPH when you drive the car harder, having a slower ET gives the car more time to speed up. Sounds silly, but it's true.
Not from driving harder - you mean with a better 60', but that's when comparing a 1.72 to a 1.65, not when going from a 2.0 to 1.7. The 2.0 could very well have killed his mph just from taking forever to get going or slow shifts or who knows what else. Improved driving can show improved traps due to getting the most out of the car, but then there's a point at which improved launches actually result in slightly lower traps. He's not to that point yet.
