I would like to see some track times with a green and meth.

A friend of mine in his 04' RS Evo ran a 7.2 with a 20g and meth in the 1/8. The times aren't very impressive when comparing to the 20g 9 turbo.

22-24mph seems more like the normal mph increases on the back end of the track.

I know it's pretty damn crazy I don't know how it happens but I would have to say its driving. I no lift at 8k and am still seeing 25psi at the top of 4th.

I am curious to know what my buddy Kjewer1 is trapping in the 1/8th?

I am putting in HKS280's next

My car was about 3050lbs with a 1/4 tank of gas. I weigh 200 and was racing with 1/2 tank. I agree with what was already mentioned that the track sensor may be off. Even my best trap last year at 122mph was 97mph in the 1/8th. The other difference in 1/8th mile is my shorter gearing most likely. I am shifting to fifth at around 110-112mph with the MR gear box. I would probably have been seeing traps closer to 126mph with a 5spd. Once, I get my 60ft times back into the low 1.6's I expect that my 1/8th ET will be close to 7.0. On my second run my 1000ft was also a 7.2 (same as my 1/8th)...timing equipment definitely does malfunction from time to time.

Not sure what I was smokin last night but it weighs 3250 without me in it and 3450 with me in. Sorry about that. This is was on Buschur's corner scales. Basically the car is full weight with the exception of the lighter Buschur parts and I also removed the rear spare.

I have an RS so my car weighs 3390 with me in it. Probably a little more now that I have been hittting the gym and have gained 17lbs of solid mass

When I raced at atco I trapped 93 in the 1/8th and 122 in the 1/4, not much of a difference between my home track and atco?

93 and 122 is closer to what I would consider normal. I looked over all my slips from both the EVO and DSM. My DSM ran a best of 11.4 at 122 and the 1/8th mile was 93mph. The EVO however always trapped between 96-98 in the 1/8th mile. To me, it appears the difference is the 5spd vs a 6spd (gearing). I am hoping I can drop another two tenths off my 1/8th and I should have a shot at the 10's.

I would consider trying to shift around 7200-7500rpms. Going by most of the dyno graphs that I'm seeing, the 20gLT's are dropping off power around 7300rpms.

Power may be dropping off but there still is plenty of power still being made. I might give a shot at shifting at 7500

I have always had good luck shifting high.

Wow.. You went from 366 to 430 on Buschur's dyno with the Green. Did you add anything else along with the turbo? More boost? Parts?

Within the next week, I'll be heading back up there for the Green install along with Intake Mani, 65mm throttle body and a retune on the AEM. I'd love to see gains like yours but I'm not expecting it to be that high.

Props on your crazy times and traps Wish I could drive like you

Oh also, I assume a 5th gear shift will be needed to trap in the 120's? If so, what optimum Rpm should I shift at? (03 Evo 5speed)

Thanks!
Mike
