Congrats! I've got my green in at the moment, can't wait till the track opens up and when i can get a dayoff to try out the ride. Gotta quick question for the fellow Evogreen members. I want to port my intake mani and get the Br 65mm throttle body. The thing about it is i'm going to just run the stock ecu, will it affect how the car idles/driveability? I've seen a couple of guys mentioning they're running those 2 parts.

I highly reccomend the 65mm TB and ported intake from Buschur. With those 2 parts I easily gained 15whp. No driveability issues what so ever.

Eric,

Thanks for the compliment. It was very nice meeting you and I appreciate you letting me drive your car.

The more I think about it, I think your clutch was giving up a little bit each pass towards the end. Obviously, the more aggressive we shifted the car the more the trap speed dropped. We probably should have let the car cool down a lot longer between passes. The last pass would of been a 10 for sure if the clutch would of held.

BTW, I don't think you suck at driving. I thought you did a pretty damn good job!
If the clutch will hold with some better tires or a better prepped track, That car will run 10's easily! If you don't get it in the 10's soon, let me know and I would be glad to meet you at the track and put another BR green prepped car in the 10's

Take care,
Kevin

Nice times! Out of curiousity how are you launching the car to get these consistant times? rpm? slip vs. dump?

The technique I use seems to work for me but may not be the most aggressive. I usually make sure the slack from the drivetrain is out and from there I do a quick slip. It takes some practice to get it right. The 2-step was initally set up at 6000 but as the track became more slick David lowered it to 5800. That helped a little but it was still spinning really hard out of the hole.

Thanks Kevin! It was a pleasure meeting you and letting you drive. I will let you know how it goes in the next couple of weeks.
