Green LT 11.2 @ 128.71

Hello everybody,

I attended a private track rental at Norwalk Raceway today in Ohio. There were quite a few Evo's there a couple of twin turbo Porsche's the usual Dsm's and David Buschur's nasty daily driven RS.

A BIG Thank You goes out to David Buschur, without his help this would not have been possible.

The best run out of 6 I drove was:

60'...1.742
330...4.814
1/8...7.330
MPH...98.59
1000...9.471
1/4...11.260
MPH...128.71

The other passes were, 11.5,11.4,11.7,11.3,11.6

I had the opportunity to put Kevin Lawson in the drivers seat. Oh man can he drive! For those of you that don't know him he pilots the Buschur Racing Conquest and has driven many of David's cars. Great guy and I learned a lot from watching and talking to him.

He ran the car most of the afternoon and as the day progressed the track got more slick. My all season Falken Ziex 512's just refused cooperate. There were a few runs there that could have been 10's if the 60' was just a little better. Kevin's best was an 11.1 @ 123. He ripped it out of the hole and grabbed 2nd. and you could hear the clutch slip. When we got back to the pits he said that the clutch slipped all of the way down the track. I guess all of the back to back passes netted a really hot clutch.

From here I'm going to get a nice set of sticky tires and continue on my quest for the 10's. So close I could practically taste it today. Congrads to Bobby(dadriva) for the 10.9 @130. Thanks again to David Buschur and Kevin Lawson. Today was a blast.

Here's a current mod list for those that are curious.
Buschur Stages 1-4
BR Ported intake manifold
BR 65mm throttlebody
Buschur Racing TBE w/ testpipe
Ebay coated O2 housing
Ported & Coated exhaust manifold
Ported & coated 10.5 hotside
HKS 280i/280e cams
ARP Head Studs
Buschur 20g-LT turbo
AEM EMS
TiAl 50mm BOV
Exedy Twin Disk HD Clutch
SS Clutch Line
Buschur Motor Mounts

Thanks for reading ,

Eric

WOW, another great time for a 20G-LT powered EVO!!!

Looks like you might need to rebuild the Exedy and head back to the track some time to try to grab a 10 sec pass.

Congrats on a super fast time!!!

Eric, it is a great pleasure having you as a customer and also what I consider a friend. Very proud to have you running our parts, supporting us and showing what a proper combination of parts can do.

Your car is a 60' time away from running a 10 second pass on the green. You should be proud as you have one of the heaviest cars running, missing only the front bumper beam and spare tire. The car is also super clean and always looks great.

I wish I had known you needed tires I could have brought my spares for you.

Great hanging out with you today, glad I can be part of it all.

BTW, reconsider WW3!

Thanks again,

Really, he just needs halfway decent tires, and he'll be golden. The 11.2 is impressive, but the 128mph trap is WAY impressive. These are huge trap speeds we're seeing from a "stock" turbo.

Wow! Just amazing.

My car has got to have more in it after seeing the kinds of times/traps lately with the Green.

Just curious, was this at your 394whp or did you have a C16 tune in there? If it was with C16, I'm getting a tune for it too!

Congrats again on the time & trap! Simply astonishing!

These traps are ridiculous. It has to be that AEM EMS and Buschur tuning!

I would suggest based on my runs and the runs I'm seeing the AEM and David's tuning magic are part of the equation. But, speaking as a current owner of the Green, this turbo is just sick. I had a 20g-9 prior to this and the difference is night and day. The power curve is just crazy not to mention the close to stock spool.

Again, congrats on the times and trap! Those are insane #'s.

Thanks for all of the positive compliments!!

This was on C-16 with a stock bottom end and only cams and ARP studs in the head. I also have the BR ported intake manifold and 65mm throttle body

i hate to address people when i don't know them personally but....
David, i now understand that when the first words of the LT/GREEN were mentioned that there was no advertising or hyping it up.
it was purely excitement in your posts! with good reason as we are all seeing!

don't know about you guys, it seems like a some what magical night for the evo community, or is that cause i just got back from disney world

either way, truly awesome proof going on

Dude get into the thread in my sig and post your time- your 11.2 might make the list if you can give up to a 100th decimal point. Would love to add you.

First, great runs, Eric, .

Second, this is not a "stock" turbo.
You really need to have one in your hands, then you will know why.
This turbo looks stock, yes. That is about it.
