My Evo did horrible at the track.

Ive raced at the track before but never in a awd turbo car. just a ****y civic and a ATV
(raptor 660).

My runs were embarsing and i wanted to curl up in a ball and die.

My first run i reved to 3 k and let the clutch out and stalled. it was the most embarrsing thing ever in my life . i still ran a 20.89

second run i reved a little higher 4,100 and let clutch out to fast and bouged out a little then shifted like crap and ran a 16.67 with a 2.67 60' time.

on my fith run i got a little more use to the awd launch and got a 2.52 60'. I reved to like 5k and sliped the clutch out until it graped. the car griped amazing and i heard a little spin it threw me pretty good into the seat but i still shifted like crap and ran only a 15.557. it still was pretty embarssing. i barley beat 2005 mustang . think i just need a lot more pratice and i think i need to rev it to redline before i shift to .

heres my times on my best run

r/t .474
60' 2.340
330 6.439
1/8 9.974
mph 71.86
1000 12.956
1/4 15.557
mph 88.36

Yikes, for the sake of our community, please practice your shifting and launching before going to the track.

Get a ECU flash that has two-step in it....floor the car and drop the clutch when the rpm needle gets to the red shift...

You got to launch betwee 5-6k.

If you launch any lower you'll usually bog and get 2.3 60 ft. times.

Wow 88mph trap. That must be some serious double clutching.
Practice always helps but for a price.
