I guess the AFC isn't that primitive if he's running those times on it, nitrous or not....

I don't usually agree with Warrtalon, but he's right. It just doesn't add up. I hit 117.xx mph on my stock 03 turbo with cams, 3' tbe, 26psi, fmic, utec, and AMS VSR as far as power mods go. The only power mods you have listed is Safc II, boost controller, AEM intake which isn't going to give you much, and a clutch. Does the cryo2 system really help that much????

Yeah and with only an SAFC, MBC, and Intake, why would you upgrade the injectors?

Yes, it _IS_ that primitive. It's all you need for light mods and a hit of nitrous. The car will go fast regardless of the tuning device, but it would be even better with a basic flash.

So when you tune cars, what is your favorite device to use?

EcuFlash, of course, but I don't tune other people's cars beyond changing basic settings or uploading maps sent by tuners through email. I only mess with my own car.

we put in injectors because they advance timing i dont have nitrous on the car and im still on the stock exhaust. I dont really care what you guys say i have proven that an evo with stock motor turbo suspension and the mods ive listed can be fast i dont care what you guys say hate all you want think what you will all that matters is that im happy with the results of my car. and i think the vid was put together nice. Dan B from AMS he has a white evo 8 and he went 11s with very little mods 2 and i found a post in here with an evo 9 going 11.3 with stock turbo didnt see what mods though.

Uh, Dan went high 11s on an Evo IX with full exhaust and a custom flash, at low altitude, and without piggy weight. We all know you're full of it. Listen to your damn videos - that is not a stock exhaust. In fact, it sounds way louder than a full 3" exhaust. It's probably an open downpipe, which does not mean "stock exhaust." You haven't proven anything except that people cannot be trusted.

The Evo 9 that went 11.3 also had full bolt-ons, race gas, and at sea level. I'm not sure why you think your car can be as fast as those when you have an 03, which is the weakest Evo with the weakest turbo, 3500lbs, and at high altitude with weak mods. You're not fooling anyone...

I'll tell you what war talon, are you a priest or a judge because I dont remember standing in line for confession....but ok nice catch, I run nitrous, not all of us can talk ourselves into a sponsorship, much less 5 of them...

Now that we have proven that my car is primitive and slow, how about a race? On or off the bottle, your call. Since your in Colorado Springs, Id say Albuquerque is about as close to half way as it gets. What do you say? It would make some good footage ...

For the record I could have done the cookie cutter method like 90% of evo owners but then we wouldn't be having this nice conversation would we? For my budget I would rather run nitrous than make excuses...

As for my exhaust it is stock, even down to my earth friendly cat. It has however been modified with a QTP cutout (nice and stealth when it should be).
