if i did drag id run a bottle because i cant afford to build a 10 second all turbo car but thats just me.

 

So just because he called him out on it he wants to race. That is lame dude, If he would of just said he had a shot of nitrous, he would of never been called out.

 

As friend of Jeremy's, I'd like to see this race go down. I know for a fact that his car has gone 12.5 @ 113 without nitrous which is very respectable, may even be just enough to outrun the almighty wartalon the forum king. I agree it was dumb of him to deny the nitrous as it is nothing to be ashamed of, hell, John Shepherd runs it.

Either way, a callout has been made, you guy's gonna run?

Warp9, Al uses EcuFlash when he tunes my car, too - I did not disassociate from him. He just lives 2000 miles away, so I do my own tweaks when he's not around. I also run an SMC alky injection kit, PWR radiator, and AEM UEGO, all of which were given to me by Al as part of the sponsorship. There's more to it than just him tuning me.

I am not driving 350 miles just to drag race against a liar whose feelings are hurt because he got busted. I've proven what I can run up here off the bottle, and I have nothing else to prove: 12.3 @ 109. That was before swapping in the IX turbo and Shep trans, so if anything, I'm faster now. I'm also 2000' higher in altitude. If he wants to come up to Pueblo and get owned, that's fine with me. While we're at it, we can also run the road course at Pueblo, which is what my car is built for, and he can get owned again.

PS. No way did he trap 113 off the bottle. You guys are ridiculous.

 

Warr's right on this one, and I'm one of the last people on these forums to go to bat for him. But this guy's post is basically insulting peoples intelligence. How are you gonna come on to a forum where the members own the car your driving, post these numbers, and claim to have a stock exhaust and not be runnin nitrous? Now you get called out on it by someone that knows what they're talkin about and you just wanna race? That sounds like chlidish bull****. A race isn't going to make you less of a liar no matter what the outcome.

 

Yeah, didn't have to lie. If you had said you had a stock exhaust with cut-out and nitrous, then it would have been fine. It IS impressive to only have those few mods and spend that little money and run that quick at high altitude. You would have been congratulated for doing what it takes to overcome the limitations of altitude and monetary funds.

 

Don't take this as sticking up for him because I don't need to. The car is fast period! He is a good driver period! In fact whatever modifications he has are none of your business (unless of course you are paying for the car or the parts)...

Apparantly he chooses to get respect on the track rather than on the internet with a 2 inch long sig.


This car has proven that despite all the fast and furious myths, Nitrous can be safe, reliable and very effective when used and tuned properly. Like mentioned earlier, he could have spent over 5 to $6000 on cams, pipes intercooler, flashes, turbo's, just to hopefully run the same time. He chose to get results, not a long signature.

Enough about that, lets recap.... The video speaks for itself about how the car performs. You called him out, he denied it because it was noone elses business other than his wallet's. He eventually admitted. So now it's your turn, are you gonna man up?
You call his mod's primitive and weak, I call them simple and effective... In fact, how about one more sposorship for you? Just because I would like to see him do the impossible against a forum king like yourself, the local DSM guy's will hold a fundraiser to pay for your gas to meet him half way. What do you have to lose?

You should have just came clean from the beginning. There is no reason to lie about your mods. Most of the members here arent idiots and with your traps speed and video it was obvious you were running nitrous.

Admitting your mods and asking for a race because you got caught isnt necessary. I would never cross state lines to race someone because they got caught in a lie and were trying to save face. I dont think anyone out of high school would.

You called his car weak and primitive, so he called you out. Same track same conditions, no excuses...

You say he can't beat you without nitrous... Prove it! Your gas will be sponsored to meet him halfway.

This isn't trash talking. this is a challenge to race. He did lie, obviously he suck's at the internet. If I'm not mistaken this forum is about "racing" and "results" not "truth or dare". There is more to life than bragging about yourself on the internet.

 

I said his TUNING DEVICE is weak and primitive, and it is. It's just an SAFC. Stop trying to exaggerate and make my comments into something they are not. His main two mods are nitrous and open downpipe. Those mods make any Evo fast. The rest is nothing.

Again, I have nothing to prove. I've run my times and posted them for all to see without hiding the mods, octane, boost, or anything. I know what I run, and so does everyone else. Feel free to try and beat them...
