New Times - 11.76 @ 116.86 mph - Evo IX
Well I finally got to take my IX to the track after getting flashed by Al at Buschur Racing. Overall the night went pretty good and I'm very happy with the results. I ran a bunch of times, each time getting faster and faster. Here was my best slip:

My run right before this I pulled a 1.64 sixty and OMG did it feel good! This was done with 93 octane pump gas and full weight on the stock clutch. I was bouncing 4th gear at 7800 rpm going through the traps haha. Here are my mods:
- BR 3" TBE w/ Testpipe & Bullet Muffler
- BR Tubular o2 Housing
- BR OEM Ported & Jet Coated Exhaust Manifold
- BR Intake w/ Cone Filter
- BR Race FMIC
- BR Upper & Lower Intercooler Pipes
- Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
- Forge MBC @ 23 psi
- DynoFlash/Buschur Racing Custom Tune
Last weekend 5/26/07 the car made 321 awhp & 317 ft/lbs on Buschur Racings Mustang Dyno. http://www.yeahdawg.com/Chris/EvoDyno01.jpg
I have a bunch of fun things planned for this fall/winter!
Enjoy

Nice run for what you got done. I am curious did you datalog the run and see 7800 or did it just hit the rev limit near the end of the run? The reason I ask is I datalogged my last time out all my passes and since the timers werent working correctly I was curious how my data correlates to actual trap data.

Wow, that's some amazing stuff right there. You're showing 370+ Dynojet whp on freakin' 93oct. It's yet another car with awesome Buschur parts and Dynoflash tuning. People like to bash Al, but there's no denying he puts some fast Evos down the track.
You have a great combination of parts - you chose wisely on your IX - and you drove very well.

I think some head work and cams are next. Im out of gear/rpm haha. BR stage 3 head and Cosworth cams would be nice.

NIevo, remember that the IX 4th gear is almost as short as the MR 4th gear - maybe 1mph difference.
StreetThisEvo, I love for Buschur to get every amount of business possible, but I don't think a built head would be a great return on investment at this point. You can do the cams/springs/retainers and rev to 8000 no problem while also adding alky to run big boost. These will give you nice returns on investment before going too crazy.

That is true.
Our mods look to be the same

As much as I like BR, I'm still a HUGE Shep Trans fan! He lives 30 minutes away from me and has built a couple trannys for my past DSM's. I was thinking of taking it to him when i do the clutch.
