Yeah, cold air + spinning = high trap speeds but not great ETs.

 

Damn I knew that "StreetThis" name sounded familiar...I remember you over from Probetalk with the all motor KLZE. Dont you just miss the sound of that engine.

 

How much power does the Buschur Ported Exhaust Manifold add?

 

I would say 1-2 hp. It more or less just looks bad ***.

 

^ I port matched my manifold to the gasket and hit the runners with some heavy duty low grit disks. I didn't notice any difference at all. But as he said the coating makes it look real pretty. Just be sure to get stainless exhaust manifold nuts/studs so it doesn't get nasty on you.

DBSEARS87.... I definitely miss the tuned sound of the KL but my EVO has been beat to hell and I've never had a problem.

 

I dont think its a freak. I have the EXACT same parts minus some stuff and im right there.---Either that or maybe we both got one, I'd be ok with that too!!!

same boost, same parts, same flash, same stock stuff, he has a race intercooler and piping, and a ported exhaust manifold....that should almost make the .23 difference in time and MPH not even counting the .1 difference in the 60'.

 

Its not that the manifold adds power, it just helps the turbo spool up faster. In turn makes the power sooner in the rpm range, and may help hold the power longer.
