i have all the same mods but now i just got a longer 4th from shepherd, because i have the cosworth 272s that im gonna put in about a month or so when i get more money, but the best was a 12.911 @ 103.5 with a 1.9 60ft but i was wondering why my trap speed is so low, is it because of the 4th gear because when i had the stock 4th the trap was around 107 with a 13.1 and a 1.9 60 but i dunno, the temp was about 90 and it was really humid. do you guys think that the 4th was what slowed me down or just bad weather
I hope you didn't change out your trans just for extending 4th gear. It was because you damaged the stock trans, right? You still won't be near needing a longer 4th gear even after the cams.
Anyway, you improved the ET without improving your power or 60', so I don't think the trap speed is an issue. Both the ET and trap suck donkey *****, but you appear to be on a stock cat, a very restrictive cat-back, and no tune.

Longer forth means car is driving up hill compared to old forth. Results are as expected. mitsubishi does a lot of research on correct ratios for the powerband. Why would you change that??????
