Check my sig for mods. my CEL light was on the whole time I dont know if that matters. I know its pretty bad for a modded evo IX. I also have some BS General POS's. I bought the car used and those where the tires I got with the car.

Your 60' should probably be a little lower. What RPM did you launch at?

 

I ran a 12.6@106 with a test pipe and flash on my 05 at island..You might want to check for a boost leak or something..Your trap speed is way down meaning you are making about the same power level as stock or less..

 

Man those are terrible times for a IX. My brother ran a 12.98 when he was stock in his 05 Evo

 

not bad for a first time, could be better but you know that. Me and a bunch of people are shooting up there at the end of september. Let me know if you want to come down with us.

 

Those are pretty bad times for a 9 with your mods.
Should be around low 12's@110+ with a good tune w/ out and upgraded FM. Your tires should'nt matter since your probably bogging off the line with that 60'ft.

Buying a used modded evo isn't always a good thing.
So I would start see what your "Check Engine" light is. Probably a 420 code since your catless. Boost leak test your system. If you find any...get it fixed.
Don't know if your ECU is flashed so have a reputable tuner take a look at your maps and have it tuned right.

Get this done and with a decent 60' and shifting...You'll be where you should be.

 

also up the boost afterwards, 20psi is too low.

i was at island that day, i tryed helping you with your driving but you totaly acted like a dick to me so i didnt keep trying to help.

 

Ouch. I hate it when people cant take constructive critisism at the track. Why dont you start by seeing what code youre throwing and go from there. Your 60' time isnt good at all, but your trap is even more disturbing. I would venture to say you dont have a tune.

The only people I spoke to other than my friends and my girl was someone that came up to me as soon as I got there and asked me what times was I running what mods I had and he told me he was doing consistent 14's and his clutch was slipping. I told him to let his tranny cool so his clutch would stop slipping and I would be back to see what my car ran. when I returned he wasnt there.
3. thats not like me! I talk to a lot of evo guys and I listen to what they have to say NO ONE came up to me to help out with my driving!!!
