You're at least half a second off considering the good 60' and the good trap speed. This points directly to grandma shifting, because you can hit 12.0 with 113-114 traps on those 60's. 120 traps give sub-11.5 with a 1.7. If you're shifting quickly, then either the timers are way off, or you aren't really hitting 120.

Low 12s would be 110-114mph...

First off I dont like you so F off.
I hit a 12.2 week before last at 112 with a 1.8 60'
I have also seen alot better driver get 11.9 at 119 also doesnt like you.
And if it was anyone else Id post a slip to prove them that I am hitting 120, but for you I dont care. It is also a nhra track, once again F off. to warrtalon

Doesn't matter whether you like me or not. If you hit a 12.2 @ 112 with a 1.8, then you know a 12.0 @ 120 with a 1.7 makes no sense. No one is insulting you and no one is saying you didn't run 120 - we're only trying to help.

11.9 @ 119 is very poor driving, too - anyone would agree with that.

Lastly, why would you refuse to post a slip just because I responded. NIEvo is saying the same thing, and you already said yourself that 3 people have questioned you on this...

It only makes sense with very slow shifting or lots of turbo lag between shifts.

That could be some of your problem. Try shifting higher with a bigger turbo. I would say around 7500 or so and see what that gets you. Even with the stock turbo on a modded car you should shift higher then 7k.

actually it was a slipping clutch. I was orig launching at 6500 slipping off the line to get a good 60 by the second run it was slipping through the entire pass. I reduced the two step down to 5500 and no slip. All im trying to point out is everything you post it is only one thing that can cause a problem, when in fact there are so many variables that play into what a car will do. Maybe if you didnt come across as such an *** hole more ppl would take your information with respect, instead all you do is enrage ppl.

Yeah, try it and see what happens. Now that I have the 35R I am shifting at 7600-7700 in every gear.

Shifting

I'll agree with the rpm thing. I am on stock turbo with a handful of mods (nothing major) and on 91 I'm trapping 112-113 and running 12.2 - 12.3 with 1.72-1.8 60' times. Considering you are shifting around 7k-7200, I would say this does not have anything to do with your shifting. You might be dropping slightly out of your peak power band causing slowing slower times with a good trap speed. I usually shift my car around 7400-7500 and I hit the traps at about that same rpm in 4th. The bigger turbo alone is going to hold boost higher in the rpm range, so that would probably be very beneficial for you. As for the launching, I know tons of people that drag on the stock clutch, but it doesn't do well at all if you "slip" it. You pretty much have to dump it. One guy was cutting 1.6 60' on his stock clutch. I'm launching at 5500 and cutting the 1.7xs. When I get back home to go to the track, I will raise my SRL to around 6k or 6200 to see what kind of 60' I can cut.

Good luck and keep us updated on what changes you make in the future and how it works out for you.

What you wrote here made no sense. I did not give just one reason. If you knew you had a slipping clutch, then why didn't you say something initially? I don't believe your clutch was slipping through the runs, because you would have said that initially, and you would have replied with that info when NIEvo guessed that your shifting was extremely slow.

Nice try. Proceed to get enraged.
