Stock turbo record vs Stock TYPE turbo record
Catagorization is for people trying to invent their own records. It is a general statement not singling out anyone particular person. Many have done it, including myself.
The mention of the factory ecu in my sig merely indicates that a standalone was not necessary. It is not to say that it is the record for the stock ecu only. It is the record for ANY ecu.
Using it to say XXXXXXXX has the fastest 127mph car when another is using AEM to achieve 129mph is something entirely different.

Shouldnt it look like this:
Stock turbo record:
ET: 10.59 (Curt Brown)
MPH: 129.94 (TTP-Scott)
Stock appearing turbo (20G-LT, 20G-96 etc)
ET: 10.57 (Curt Brown)
MPH 130 (Dadriva-Bob)

If it was another Buschur built car, it wasnt talked about around here. Dadriva is the one who went 10.9@130 with the 20G-LT. I know there was someone else who went low 11s at 127-8 but I definitely did not hear about anyone else going 130.
Who am i to step on anybody's toe's but hhmmmmmmmmm this is what i have come across while researching the evo green turbo.I hope no one gets mad at this but these are the facts. They are stated on the website where you can purchase a evo-green turbo.
1. The link below is to forcedperformance now scroll on to the bottom.
2.It clearly says Curt Brown and David Bushur's names at the bottom.
3.The turbo was used for the 127-129 passes.
4.The turbo was in testing on these's passes (not in production).

Soon2bevo, you're post is how I would have assumed that a signature should be. That's why I was upset when ttpeng was trying to point the finger at me, while he himself did what he was accusing me of. I'm interested in what the majority of the community recognizes as being a record, not what an individual calls a record. Hollow trophys mean nothing to me. Hell, we may not even get any closer to Curt's record for the 20G-LT, but I'm sure going to have fun trying. Curt seems to think that we're well on our way, and so do I. Now the fun begins. I hope TTP-Engineering has a car in our class at the shootout, because if there is, it's going down. Period.
This is correct, that's why I was confused about the times and mph, etc. It seemed that there was conflict about the 10.59 @ 127.47 vs other times and mph's that other's had said CB had run. It was these other runs that I knew Curt had made on a 20G-LT turbo that confused the situation, especially since they were nearly identical to the 10.59 run. So that's why I PM'd Curt to get the scoop. He clearly stated to me that the 10.59 run was on the STOCK TURBO with 10.5 hotside. The proof to this is noting the date of his run and when it was posted on Youtube. April of 2006 I believe. This was well before the 20G-LT was even available for the testing. He also stated that he made a few runs with the LT, but never had the chance to really tune it, so his best et was only .01 better than the 10.59, hence the 10.58 post I made earlier. His mile per hour was 1-2 mph better I believe than it was on the stock turbo. This confusion was my reason for starting this thread, not to find ANOTHER slot for ANOTHER record. That's just ludicrous. I can live within the rules of anything, I just need to know the rules and I'll set my goals.

IIRC, there were reports/rumors that TTP was running nitromethane when they ran that time. I asked point blank in a thread somewhere if they ran nitrometh to hit that time, but my question was never answered. Just FYI.

For the record, the way I remember CBRE was 10.9 on the stocker and 10.5 with the green.
Nope, 10.59 @ 127.47 is the stock turbo record, on video, documented in April of 2006. That's about as good as you can get to prove it. Only thing I'm not sure of is where the run was. It doesn't appear to be at Norwalk, where I think the 20G-LT runs were made. If it's not, then I think this further proves the 2 different runs. Isn't it ironic that if I was trying to find a new record to place my son in, that I'm having to defend a much quicker et for the 20G-LT? I also thought at first that the record for the LT was 10.5, then I saw it called stock turbo, then his own website said 10.92 (which was later broken with the 10.59). That's why I ask questions and dont assume that I know the answer. I merely wanted to know WHAT I was shooting for, after all, NHRA, IHRA, NDRA, SCCA, F1, etc all create classifications to clearly have even competition and then they keep track of those records. Without anyone keeping accurate track records and the cars modifications, how can someone coming up know where their car fits into the mix without asking questions. Then to have someone point fingers at you, just because you have the gall to ask questions, is off base to me. I may have been raised in a small, Northeastern Oklahoma town, but I learned a few things in life. One of them is, "If the chickens start raising hell in the hen house, someone must be getting close to their eggs."
It looks to me like one of us is vehemently trying to deny Curt's record while at the same time defending their own record, and the other of us is only defending a proven, documented record. It sure is a funny way of trying to help myself out, proving FASTER and QUICKER ET's, just so I can have a loftier goal to attain. Oh well, it'll be twice the reward if and when it gets broken. I can assure you of one thing, Curt would be one of the first to send congratulations. He's a class act and proven champion.
.In the end i congradulate them on there sucess with this turbo it is simply a good upgrade.
I didn't set the record i just raced the guy who did scott@ttp the guy i now work for, if you go to streetfire.net and look up ttp 10.92 run i was in the black car back then i had no meth cams, drop in, exauhst and a tune. Yes i got whooped befor i worked for him as just one of his normal customers. I still get whooped by him to this day. I think he defends his record better then i can because back then he built the car. Please DON'T TAKE MY ACTIONS THE WRONG WAY.
