Yes that is correct.

Went 10.0@135 full interior,stock throttle body, with hoosier QTP gt35r 63 Exhaust side

I would guess most strokers are shifting 5th. I know I do.

Why not spin it to 9 grand? If you only spin it to 8k then you will need a bigger tire under the car to go the same speed.... Most people making this kind of power are trapping around 140 or so and dont want to shift into 5th gear.


I also am not a fan of strokers for drag racing.

15x7 inch rims and 26x8 Hoosier's with avg traps of 150mph..


he estimated I should cross the 1/4 @ 8700-8800rpms in 4th doing 150mph

Well you and I are on 4G64 block so I'm not sure either of us classify as strokers. An actual 4G63 stroker I thought was a bit iffy over 8k.

Not an EVO but my 2G street car runs 10.4's @142Mph on 33Psi and no nitrous on a 2.3L last season.
