1/4 mile times, without launch?

Has anyone done a 1/4 mile run without the launch? If so, what times did you get? I want to know how much time the launch puts you ahead.

In a car magazine they do a roll to 60 from 5mph and got 6.7 seconds. The launch helps tons, just ask anyone putting a new clutch in.

I was thinking of trying it just for kicks. I'll let you know. I bogged a fair share of launches and still ran 13.3's and 13.4's at 105-106 mph.

14.4 my launch absolutely sucked! 2nd time drag racing and first time in a awd! i literally started at 1k rpms! Do not rev to 5k and pull your clutch out at the speed of light..feels like a geo metro at the start!
