Pretty damn happy about a bad launch. 12.1
As I sit right now I'm an Evo8 Mr with
Evo9 Turbo
GSC cams
HKS rs Intake
Forge MBC
AMS TBE
maxford Exhaust manifold
Helix o2 housing
Logic Performance Lower IC pipe
Buschur racing upper pipe with mini battery
Tial Bov
Walbro Fuel pump
HKS dli ii
As I sat before I had all of this minus the BR upper pipe and tial. I had a logic performance upper pipe with a forge dv instead.
I bought the BR upper pipe with the tial expecting to put it in when i put my aem in and green.
I've had a nasty boost leak for a long long time that i couldnt find. finally found it. turns out the logic performance pipe i bought rubbed against a bracket on the car towards the bottom and it basically ate a nickle sized hole in the pipe. i know there are issues of switching over to a vta on the stock ecu so i didnt want to put it in till the aem went in but i had no choice right now. changed it out and capped off the recirc part of the hks intake. fixed this thursday.
my previous best was 12.3@110 with a 1.73 60' with my tire pressure lowered to 21.
friday i went with my friend and we got there really late so we just said screw it and hopped in line and ran as we sat.
i spun a bit, cut a 1.83 (bog imo) and ran 12.1 @ 114.3
looked at my tire pressure after and it was 36 psi all the way around.
still untuned for the hks dli and evo9 turbo, pump, and pulling timing all the way down the track.
the tial with the hardest spring in it (came with 3) boosts 24 psi with my forge mbc floored to the bottom lol.
cant wait to go green. that or go back and run an 11.9 on pump, untuned.
might go back march 7-8. got free tickets to go so who knows
